Ethnic De Generation
What a nice lunch @ the UNM Campus. Got to FINALLY experience an EDG jam session! These kids are incredible....definately some true Native Pride goin' on there. (Will have photos of them on my website by the end of the week.) Tonight they will be jammin' again on campus with about 4-5 other Native bands. Come check 'em out. Onawa Lacy, 2003 Miss Indian World is hosting the event. So anyway, take care!

Gathering of Nations Week
If yer in Albuquerque anytime this week, there are quite a number of Native activities going on around town! The Miss Indian World pageant will be held on Thursday night. I understand this is something that one should experience, at least once in their lifetime. The Traditional Talent competition is what blows the show away! Of course the Powwow @ the UNM Pit starts on Thursday and goes thru Saturday. THEN, there's the Electric 49 downtown @ the El Rey Theater on Friday night. Bunch of Native musicians coming together to jam out - geetar style. The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center also has weekly activities that I'm not aware of. Dang, too much to list. Just come out to Alb's, and maybe we can hook up. Be careful, but enjoy!

Spring is Here. So is Easter, and it's Tiadawn's birthday TODAY!
I'm way excited about this upcoming Easter weekend. Mom & dad have decided to have a meeting for the family. Normally we partake in these ceremonies to pray for an ailment, or anything else that isn't going well in our lives. But it just makes my day to know that they are putting on this meeting to be thankful for their lives, and ours of course. It'll be Easter Sunday when the new day begins. It'll be a new day!

Easter in 1997-a new baby has arrived! She's Tiadawn Rose Lee, Bill's daughter. I remember when we got the news, John burned a candle and said a prayer for our new precious life. We were wayyy too excited. We had a blast with POSSIBLE names, and I always remember dad's suggested name of: Esther Bonnie (easter bunny). Boy did we get a kick out of that one! To this day, she is still my Esther Bonnie. Happy Birthday Sweetheart~ wuv you lots XOXOXOXO!

Welcome to OUR humble abode......
Hello everyone! Thought I'd start something up that I've wanted to do for a very long time. I don't write very well, but since I've collected quite a few of your email addresses, I thought this would be a good idea to keep in touch creatively. This is YOUR place to rant & rave about whatever is going on in your life. So let's see how this goes, and I hope this finds each and every one of you in beautiful spirits. Take care.
